PSA-Taiwan is organized by eight pharmacy schools: National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei Medical University (TMU), National Defense Medical Center (NDMC), China Medical University (CMU), National Cheng-Kung University (NCKU), Chia-Nan University of Pharmacy & Science (CNU), Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU), and Tajen University (TJU). It is a representative of over 4000 pharmacy students and an MOI (Ministry of The Interior Affair) approved legal organization in Taiwan. We aim to improve the relations between seven schools and professional groups, cultivating the global perspective and pharmacy profession of our students and endeavoring the identification amongst international pharmaceutical students’ associations.
Our main occupations include:
- Encouraging and helping pharmacy students to participate in international affairs and develop more international awareness as we try to achieve our final goal, which is to elevate the professional position of domestic pharmacists.
- Encourage pharmacy students to work hard and cooperate with students doing related research. The aim is to reinforce the informative and emotional interactions between students coming from different pharmacy schools.
- Enhance pharmacy students’ feelings toward their future occupation and think about the direction of their professional development, hence to enhance the image of the pharmacist.
